ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Respond to escalated “critical” service calls as required by the
help desk.
2. Lead and manage client implementations as needed, including the installation
of new
components, migration of data, documentation of network, server and workstation
setup and
successful “hand off” to the helpdesk for on-going support.
3. Provide pre-sales engineering support for the sales team, including client
network
assessments, network design, preparation and presentation of proposals.
4. Work with Sales, Service Support and Management team members to meet client
and Company
goals.
5. Travel based on market requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent is preferred.
- CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent preferred.
- Network+ Certification or equivalent is preferred.
- 5+ years experience in technology.
- Excellent business writing and communication skills.
- Solid experience with Windows 2000/XP/2003 and superior troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledgeable in supporting TCP/IP networked devices.
- Solid experience with software installations, troubleshooting and support.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Carrying a pager and/or cell phone may be required.
- Ability bend, crouch, crawl.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to use phone and phone headset.
- Ability to type using a keyboard and mouse.
- Safe operational vehicle to travel to customer sites.
