Position Description

Pay Grade 33.  Minimum $8.86/hr. This position provides administrative support to both the Nursing Workforce Diversity Grant and the Nursing Education Practice and Retention Grant.  Responsibilities include:

  • Providing information to prospective program participants; maintaining database of contacts.
  • Assisting Project Managers in the maintenance of academic files, databases, and budget records.
  • Maintaining budget database to record and track expenditures of grants.
  • Assisting Project Manager with special events as related to grant goals (Culture Seminar, Research Seminar, Future Nurses Club, etc.)
  • Assisting with the duplication and compilation of documents.
  • Scheduling meetings; ordering supplies; other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School degree required; Associate preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an office setting; university or grant experience preferred. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to learn specific university computer programs.
