Position Description

Pay Grade 34.  Minimum $9.55/hr.  This position functions as the primary contact person for the School of Nursing to the public and campus community.  Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as support staff for 18 full-time and 9 part-time faculty members. 
  • Various administrative duties including: insuring students have completed criminal background checks, collecting student fees, assisting the Director with class scheduling.
  • Gathering and submitting information for textbook orders.
  • Assisting assigned committees with faculty searches.
  • Providing administrative support for faculty in the School of Nursing; and other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school diploma required and a minimum of two years office experience, preferably in an academic environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Knowledge of basic office skills;
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task, in a fast-paced environment.
